Enter pickup, destination, cargo type, weight and date. See available trucks with type, capacity, live location, owner rating, verification status, and a zone-based price estimate.

Step 2

Notify & confirm

The owner accepts the load offer. Our dispatch team calls to confirm the rate, verify the truck's real location, and lock the pickup time before the booking becomes binding.

Step 3

Escrow payment

Pay the full trip amount via card or mobile money. Funds are held in escrow — not sent to the owner — until delivery is verified.

Step 4

Real-time tracking

Get a live tracking link. Status updates — Picked Up, In Transit, Arriving — push automatically as the truck reports location.

Step 5

Delivery & payout

The owner uploads proof of delivery. Once verified, payment releases automatically, minus commission. You rate the trip.

Is Truckonnect live yet?+

We're onboarding founding shippers and truck owners on the Mombasa–Nairobi corridor now, ahead of full launch. Join early access to be first in line.

How does escrow protect me?+

Shippers pay into escrow at booking, not directly to the truck owner. Funds are only released once proof of delivery is verified — protecting both sides from non-payment and non-delivery.

Do you charge a subscription?+

No. Truckonnect earns a commission only on trips that actually complete through the platform — never a fee just to be listed.

What if I don't have a smartphone?+

Core flows are designed to work with SMS fallback for booking confirmations, OTPs, and status updates, so a basic phone isn't a barrier to participating.
